An old-fashioned football is made up of 12 pentagons (the black patches) and 20 hexagons (the white patches) in a specific order and pattern. But do you know how to draw a football? Here are a few simple steps to doing it!
What to do?
First, take a piece of paper and a pen. Start by drawing a pentagon
Then, draw 5 lines outward from the corners of the pentagon
Now construct 6 complete hexagons around the pentagon
At the outer triple junctions draw another 5 complete pentagons
Complete the ball by drawing 5 curved lines to form a circle
Shade the pentagons to form a classic version of a football
Check out this video. Let's try drawing a football!
